try impatients. I have three in a basket and it is overflowing. It hangs from a corner of the house and only gets a bit of afternoon sun. I have red ones but they come in lots of colore, pink, white, lavender, etc. I have them growing in the shade under the mulberry tree too. They are the only flowering plant I have been able to grow under that tree. They do die in winter though unless you bring them inside. Begonia's might do well there too. I have a big one that I've had in a basket for three years. I bring it inside in the winter. We only get down in the 20's sometimes but that's enought to freeze things. I don't know about green plants. I only grow things that have flowers. Dooley
