My high school class had our 50th class reunion 2 years ago. But this year we all turn 70. So we are having a 70th Birthday party this weekend. The town has an Uptown Friday Night event every Fri. in the summer time. Today the entertainment is McGuffy Lane group. There will also be food stands etc all uptown. The class has a tent set up un the Court House lawn where we can all set and gab. Then Sat is a cookout at our class presidents home on Indian Lake about 40 miles from me. The class normally has a reunion every 5 years. I have been to everyone since moving back here in 1980. Sad to say that each one has less and less classmates show up. Either from illness or death. But out of a class of 92 I think we have only lost 5 or 6.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLASS OF '62 You all don't look a day over 18. My 50th is this year..so that means we all turn 70 in two years... I can NOT be that old!! I just looked in the mirror and sure enough I still look 18. Sounds like a really nice event tonight...have a great time.
Happy Birthday to your class, it sounds like you will be having a nice time. I came from a very large class (Hundreds) and I have only gone to one of the partys through the years. People are still in the groups they were while in school it seems....
Both days were great! A lot of gabbing took place too. 92 in the class, 40 showed up for the parties. We have lost 14 out of the class.
