HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY to you too and all reading this. I am finding more and more of my ancestors who were from Ireland so I guess I really should own at least one green item of clothing, but I don't

Happy St. Paddy's Day! I'm looking for something green to wear also.

My husband is part Irish, so St. Patrick's Day is special to me (Ireland, in some way, gave me the best husband on earth!). I celebrated by giving green plants to several friends!

We went to our local parade Sjoerd. There were some very funny floats, great turnout and surprisingly the weather was brilliant also. My young nieces and nephew enjoyed it, except for the loud truck horns :)

Thanks Frank. I really had no idea what sort of celebration would take place on this well-known day.
Of course I have heard of it, but we really do not celebrate it here at all. It sounds like a good day for children.
