This time a proper Eileen-style shortbread. Crumbling the ingredients, Tracing a 20cm plate to reflect the size of the bread. This is the size. All kneaded and pinched for prettiness. All done, out of the oven and resting. Thanks again Eileen.
Well, now, pass me a piece or two and a cuppa please and I'll NOT sing for you. You get off cheap, just ask anybody that knows me. That looks delicious.
Thank you Countess Sandalot. About that singing though—can you do Delibes? You will need another girl to join you in the warbling duet. Cheers Eileen. I shall wear that badge with honour. You know the thing about shortbread is that I don’t just eat it around this time of year. I like it anytime of year, and several times a year. I sort of feel empowered now to just make it whenever I feel like it.
That's exactly what I do. Shortbread is meant to be enjoyed any time of year not just for special occasions.
WOW!!! This time not only it is delicious, it looks good too! I must go and eat a piece of biscuit or something to satisfy my drool
