I have a mystery flower in my garden since we moved here last year. It blooms around July-August and is so similar to a foxglove and lupine but doesn't seem to be either. Please help me identify this beautiful flower!
Welcome to Garden Stew Page B...by the looks of your avatar, you are a "new seed" indeed and probably our youngest member to date I believe we have at least one other member from Ontario, Canada. Those are beautiful flowers and such a gentle soft pink. There is a Forum entitled "Plant ID" (or something like that) and if you post your photo and question there you are more likely to receive a response. You will find it under the "Forums" heading on the Home Page. I'll be watching for your post because i would like to know what it is as well. Let me know if you have problems finding the Forum.
I'm so glad you found our forums as we love to get to know new members. Your flowers are lovely, and such a delicate shade of pink, they remind me of Penstemons although, as Vitrsna says, if you put your query into the Plant ID forum more folks will see it and try to help you out. I look forward to getting to know you.
Hi Page B Welcome to GardenStew from the south eastern shores of beautiful Lake Simcoe! So glad you found us!
Hi Page B and a hearty welcome to GardenStew I'm glad to see you asked your question in the Plant ID forum and that you got your answer already. That's certainly a cute flower you have as your avatar Hope you get to meet everyone here.
Hi Page, Welcome to Gardenstew from Chelmsford, MA, USA. You have a fine crop of pink 'False Dragonhead'. Mine typically bloom in late July or early August. I also have a purple variety. I hope you enjoy our forums. We are very friendly, love to talk about things and we love pictures. Glad to have you with us. Jerry
Hi Page and welcome to the stew. So glad you found this great online community of folks from all over the world who love to garden, craft, decorate and sooooo much more. I will be checking the plant ID form to see what your beautiful plant is.
