Hi i'm Suzan from Winnipeg, MB Canada. I know it's awfully early to be thinking about gardening especially on the canadian prairies where we are thigh deep in snow. Got 30cm of snow dumped on us just before new years. If I think gardening maybe spring will come that much quicker :D :D :D I am a novice at gardening and looking forward to meeting and learning from everyone here.

Hello! I'm Dooley and I live in Arizona. Mostly sunny and warm but we have some cold days due to altitude. It is definitely not too early to think about gardening. Planning is important, too. What kinds of things are you thinking about growing? How long is your growing season? Lots of questions asked here. We are a nosy lot. We like pictures, too. Welcome to the Stew. Dooley

    Hi Susan,
I am Toni from north Texas, welcome to the "stew".
I spent this afternoon planning this years garden and the plants I want to add, but even down here we are not quite ready this year to start digging in the dirt. We just might have snow on Sunday.

Hope you enjoy this group as much as we do, we do talk gardening but we also have fun getting to know each other.

A warm welcome to our forums from Scotland. :D It sounds as though you've got our snow as well as your own over there. Even although it's still winter here there are signs of spring popping up already in the garden. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you. :-D

    Hi Susan
Sending a warm WELCOME from Southern Ontario! We have been "snowless" here so far this winter, but it sounds like you have enough for all of us! Planning my gardens helps me pass the winter...spring will be here before you know it!

Hi Suzan from Michigan. No snow to speak of here in Michigan. I think planning a garden is a year round activity. There is always something to be thinking about.
