    Grow lots of carrots and lettuce, beets and apple trees … for desert. a fav snack my horses love pretzels stuffed with peanut butter…

    I can grow carrots, and have one apple tree left, but will leave most of it to the professionals. He gets two carrots, one apple, some dried bread, and supplements in his manger every evening. I'm careful because I don't know how his stomach reacts to food he mightn't have had for years.

    Oh no! They're Icelandic HORSES, not ponies. (They're ponies by size, but don't tell them that.)

    He has the kindest eyes. Not a hint of mischief in there. Time, the right food, and lots of grooming and cuddling is what we're doing right now. And a little more exercise, slowly, slowly.

    Thanks! I have to admit I've been reluctant to let him into my heart, but he's snuck in there and I think I'm in love.

    Chotty is in the equine hospital …pic of him from a visit left him an Easter bunny …
