Petals firstly you have to sweep any loose dirt off the ornament using a stiff hand brush. (You need to remove dry debris before washing to prevent it from becoming 'muddy.')Scrub the concrete with soapy water, using the soft scrub brush. You can use a toothbrush to get into any nooks and crannies. If there is any grease, paint and rust stains on the concrete then you simply use a commercial cleaning product. Allow the product to soak into the stain for about 15 to 30 minutes.
Use a power washer to give the ornament a final wash, removing any left over cleaning product. The high-powered jet of water will not be enough to damage the concrete but will blast away any stubborn bits and pieces.
Allow the concrete to dry. Job done!! :-D

I simply make a solution of water and bleach as my garden ornaments tend to become host to sooty mold and the bleach kills the black mold.
