Well I have the most boring story about my username, no prizes for guessing it's because my name is Frank :)

So how did you choose your username?

My last name is Kirkpatrick, when I first went into the Navy everyone called Kirk. When Star Trek came out, they naturally started calling me Capt Kirk. No I wasn't a Captain in the Navy. I was enlisted and was just a swabby like most of the people in there. But as a user name it is kind of unique and I haven't run into anyone else with it!

I tried out various names and none sounded right and I was frustrated. I was saying I want to be so much I finally decided wannabe was as good as it got. My actual name is Rosie. Wannabe

It was given to me before I was born.:-D

Now on other lists I am snowflake or snoless. I have always loved snow and Randy says I am the biggest snow flake he has ever met. The name snoless (or snowless depending on what it already taken) is pretty obvious considering where I live.

Dooley is a turtle in some children's stories I write. Choosing a user name that no one else has is hard. I had turtle for a password, but changed it when I put in the avatar. Dooley

Good thing I was thinking ahead then. I don't think gnomes are too bad. Especially Irish gnomes living in Sweden. Dooley

Must be mostly good moments. I haven't noticed any trickery coming out of Sweden lately or at all I think. Dooley

Well, I went by katladie on other forums and got tired of it. Since I am Cajun, I wanted something with that in it and there is a riverboat named the Cajunbelle, so I used that.

Well, as a child I was always a "bethie". People close to me still call me this instead of my grownup name "beth".

I started off as Primula on another forum that has a Tolkien focus (the name of Frodo's mother, who drowned...I live in Oregon where it rains a lot and it seemed logical at the time). Having a musical family, and having gotten used to going by 'Prim' I have used Primsong elsewhere.
