I'm a enormous fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan and have typically been a black sheep kinda gal..you know the ones that don't care what their neighbors think? SRV has a song called Look At Little Sister about that same thing, I'm her lol

I have been the pondlady since 1989. It was only logical that I take the name with me online.

My username is my given name - not very original but this was my first forum. On others I use Puzzle (that's him in my avatar).
CritterPainter I can sympathize with you. My husband had a head injury 2 years ago and repeats himself a lot. I am so thankful he is still alive that I just ignore it as I am sure many feel the same way about you. So if you repeat yourself, it won't bother us who are glad you are still around.

Thanks, Polly (and Puzzle!) Goodness, looks like it's just me that hasn't been able to get online much lately! And we are having another lovely windstorm, to I gotta shut the computer down, perhaps I should have chosen something like "looney weather lady" for a name! Mary

Being mother to three and a grandmother, I was beginning to feel a bit worn. :D Add my melancholy disposition, and there I am: Droopy.

I always wanted a palm tree. Could never get one as there was always one or the other factor that hampered the process.
Even now that I have my very own garden, I find that I have too little space to have the palm tree that I actually want and had to settle for a potted palm.
    Alas.
But I can at least have a palm tree as a pseudonym. Yea!
Real name is Carin, rather plain. Palm tree sounds much more intriguing to me.
