Just caught this topic. With just the missus and I, we could go 6-9 months. More if we were both to diet a bit. If I had more acreage, I'd have a pig or three, cows, and some chickens. A fellow down the road a bit has sheep. That would make the time indeterminate. We have a well, I can dig a hole and build an outhouse, corncobs-yeouwch!!
