I have made a step by step instructions which I hope would be helpful, please correct me if I any part is incorrect. :)

First I would like to mentioned that I am using Windows 7 operating system and Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I would like to start from right after clicking on computer

After clicking on OK this is what we will see.

This will appear and change file name

After closing Microsoft Office Manager you will see this and just click Don't Save. **Note: Clicking on save it will save over your original and the original will be gone forever.

After clicking on Don't Save you'll come back to the folder where you started but you can see the thumb nail of the picture that you saved with a different name.

Hope this is useful and I will make another step by step instruction on saving the edited picture in another folder in another location. Now I have to take my afternoon nap :smt015

Now for the next step of saving the edited photos in another location in another folder.

    As usual click on Computer.

This will show up. In the hard disc section right on top it mentioned there are 2 hard disc. In actual fact there is only 1 physical hard disc partitioned to behave like 2 hard disc. The practice of having a hard disc partitioned convience and to a certain extend performance of the computer. The norm is to have the operating system in (C:)and things like pictures, documents, movies, music and so on to be in the other partition in this case I had name mine Data (D) When the computer is configured this way we do not have to worry if and when the computer crash or the operating system got corrupted because virtually it is on a different drive. Our saved file in the other virtual drive is normally save unless it is a disc failure.

If your computer is configured this way, then click on the second drive.

    No. 3 ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden )

If it had not been used before, then it will be empty.

    No. 4 ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden )

If it is used like when saving files and the destination is specified to the second drive, in this case Data (D) then the saved files will appear here.

Now if you want to make a new folder here just right click on the mouse and follow step 2 & 3.

    No. 6 ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden )

This will appear after clicking on folder. In case you want to make a folder in Libraries it is the same procedure and so is making sub-folders in Folders.

    No. 7 ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden )

This folder have to be created before you can save directly into it. Coming back to editing pictures, the saving of the edited pictures without losing the original and having the edited pictures with the same name. First we select the destination. **Note: We can save the photo in the same location with the same name but it had to be in a different folder.

Clicking on Data(D) which is the second virtual hard disc will open it and you can select the folder that you created earlier to save the edited picture.

In the case if a folder is not specified, it will be saved as a image file and the original will remain intact in it's original location.

Well that's it :) Hope it is easy to follow and useful.
