Hummingbirds are MIA !

    Has anyone else noticed they are not here ? Has flight pattern changed ? Last year we had 20 or 30 by this time,, now 2 or 3 !

    We've never had them in the numbers you had, but we've had hummingbirds every day for a few months. We have two or three that come to the feeders and to the salvia greggii daily.

    I understand that it is a very different climate but we did have fewer than we normally have. Normally we have swarms...this year maybe twenty at the peak? Much less than normal.

    We have our usual numbers here. I put out extra feeders so we may actually have a few extra!
