hydrangea - not blooming

    I have a 10 year old hydranga bush................it has bloomed every year except the last two years.................looks great...........very healthy but not a bloom ................what did I do wrong..................I cut it back last year and it has not been the same..............what can I do to help it bloom... it use to be beautiful.

    Hmm... it sounds like it is a pruning issue that is stopping the hydrangea from blooming. Was last year the first time you cut it back?

    I found this page http://www.hydrangeashydrangeas.com/pruning.html a good resourse on pruning hydrangeas. Have a look at it and it may become apparent that maybe you cut them back incorrectly.

    Have you had a cold spring? A late spring freeze may have damaged the developing blooms as well.
