I had to take my cat Tigger over to the Animal Referral Hospital and have her put to sleep. She had turned 18 on July 13 and has been doing pretty good with her Kidney disease. I went downstairs to do some laundry and she was laying on her cat bed and she had had a stroke. I was wondering why she didn't come up and lay on my lap like she did every night. We couldn't watch her suffer so we had her put to sleep. It is so hard to do...I know so many have done it. and I have done it too many times before...There was no hope for recovery for her and we didn't want her suffering...Please say a little prayer for her...thank you so much.
I'm sorry for your loss Sherry. I know Tigger had a long, wonderful life, and thats the memories to keep.
So sorry about Tigger, she's a lovely cat. You did the right thing, please take some comfort in that.
It's so hard to make that final trip with our pets and companions but you did exactly the right thing Sherry. Now Tigger is pain free. You are in my thoughts at this sad time.
Thank you for your condolences...I didn't get much sleep and I would of loved to have heard that meow this morning as she came to greet me...I know it was her time and it hurt so bad to see her that way..it will be a hard day for me as I clean up all her dishes and beds but it has to be done...Just found out yesterday my Mother might have to have a kidney out and the other one is not in very good shape either....Sherry
Sherry you are really going through some rough times right now. You did the right thing for Tigger and she is in a better place. I will be praying for you and for your mother. God Bless.
Sherry, Randy and I are both thinking about you today knowing exactly what you are feeling since we were there a couple of weeks ago. It was the right thing to do, but it was one of the hardest things to do.
How painful for you Sherry. A real shame, but you absolutely did the right thing. My sympathy is with you. Cuddle.
