Hi all, Some eagle-eyed members spotted the Save links yesterday but let me officially introduce the Save feature Ever had to journey through the forums to find a topic / post you enjoyed? Well now you can simply save your favourite topics / posts / blog entries as you go along and when you need to locate them again in future you can do so on your Saves page (you will see a new 'Saves' link at the top of the page). Saves can be searched for from that page using the Search Saves box and you can also filter by Topic, Post, Blog, member or a particular forum / blog. One particular useful feature is the ability to add notes to your Saves. That way you can add additional text that will be useful in helping you search for the Save later, or simply to be more descriptive about why you saved it. This is flexible and can be used in any way you see fit Look for the Save links beside topic names, within posts and beside blog titles. I would be grateful to hear any feedback you have and as always if you find errors please notify me. Hope you all enjoy saving! // frank
You are my hero Frank! I saved a couple topics just as a test. This is going to be sooooooooo great. There have been posts... like those with great instructions on how to make/do/grow something... and when I finally get around to it, I can't remember who posted it or where. Oh boy! I'm excited about yet another great feature.
Glad to hear its a new feature. I was wondering if brain fog had caught up with me and it had been there all along but I hadn`t noticed.
Great feature, Frank!! I can visualize many handy uses for this feature.. I began my 'saves' by saving this post.. Hank
Thank you Frank. I was needing this for "saving" recipes, for the garden and the kitchen instead of writing them down and trying to remember where I them "saved" them.
Frank, just because I'm a bit late in thanking you for the "save" feature, doesn't mean I don't love it! Yet one more user-friendly, helpful addition to the Stew. We all appreciate the constant thought you put into making GardenStew such a great forum.
