    This Junco has a Witch Hazel tree for a backdrop. Both managed to survive the short snow session that we had.

    They say it is classed with the American Sparrows, There are a few different Junco's, this is the Gray Slated Junco.

    That's why I like your posts so much Kildale - I get to see, and learn about, birds that you have over there that we don't get here in Scotland.
