    Any tips on adding photos?

    Oh GardenStew!
I had gotten myself distracted trying to get photos of Mr. Sylvester and my crew and think there must be an easier way! I have a family web site that I maintain but I am nearing my size limit and can't get any more photos to post! :x

Anyway, I am here, time off on my hands and love hearing from you all!

We just bought 2 new cars here; what a nightmare! Do you have to do so much haggling over prices in the UK and EU? In the US it's a game to see who can last the longest ... very frustrating! I got my loverly little Bug, convertable! I love it! I had one of the old ones in college and am now having my mid life crisis car! Ahhhhhh

2 new cars - Woohoo! I love the old style Bugs but the new style is faithful to the original. Congratulations! :smt077

:D Hi joined late last night.
I'm always interested in what other gardeners are doing and making new gardening friends.
Haven't had much time to look around yet.
    Just wanted to say hello.

    Hi everyone,
I'm Marcie. I'm 42 and have 2 girls. 17 and 22. I'm from California and just recently moved to Tennessee. I live on 10 acres so I figured I would try my hand at gardening-something I have always loved but never really had the time to do until now. I also enjoy travel, photography and scuba diving. I just happened to stumble onto this website and absolutely love it!

    Hi again Marcie,
Nice to know a little about you. :) I think you'll find that once the gardening bug bites you'll be as addicted to it as I am. :D Mind you 10 acres is an awful lot of ground space!!! Have you any plans as to what you want to do with your land?
I have three kids 2 sons and a daughter. Actually they're hardly 'kids' now as they are 33, 26 and 22!!!! :shock
Hope to catch up with you again later.

    Cheers.

    Hi Marcie,

Welcome to GardenStew!! I'm so glad you love the site :) We are still a new site so it is harder to find us then other more established websites, so make sure you tell your friends :D Or better still invite them :smt023

Wow 10 acres that is a big gardening blank canvas! You could have a lot of fun with that. I hope we can help you decide what to do.

I see you like photography. I hope you have photos you can post in the Member's Gallery so we see your work. I would love to see them.

    Welcome again!

I'm not sure how to do this. I live in Arizona about 4,200 ft in altitude. I volunteer at our local library. I try to garden but this year the bugs seem to be getting the most of it. I'm sort of retired. I will be 65 next birthday. I have three grown sons, one of which lives nearby. He's my computer guru. I may have to holler help with this. Dooley/Laura

Hey Dooley and a huge welcome to the GardenStew forums :smt026 Wow you're living the 'high life' , 4200 ft! :)

Don't worry about the bugs in your garden, just ask your questions here and we will do our best to answer them. And also feel free to ask any questions on how to use this site.

What was your job before? What type of work do you have to do at the library?

    A big welcome again!
