There are some plants blooming in spite of this cold weather. We have had sleet and hail, wind and rain today with temps of 5 and 6 degs C. Still, some Springers cannot be kept down. Here are a few: Let’s. Begin with some frits. We call them lapwing eggs. Then the white form: This Brem is more bloomy today than in this foto...but its coming along. The last of the tulips: The wood anemone’s are really good this year. We have these blue ones, double white’s and yellow ones: Bluebells are all over. This view has plum blooms and colourful foliage along with dandelions and forget-me-not’s, making our garden really pleasant. Here come the apples: Finally the exochorda, also known as “the Bride”, or “Pearl Bush” here. It is the bloom display that appears each spring that keeps me feeling good with all the hard work and grey weather that we have here.
Sjoerd, the blooms make you feel good, as well as Stew members and people passing your garden. You are a "feel good" person!
Sjoerd they look great and I know seeing everything blooming this time of year is so uplifting. It makes me feel that it's worth all the effort.
I don`t know how you do it ! I would kill for flowers like that ! Ok,, not seriously but I would think about it !
Ahhh—thanks so much, Jane. That is such a nice thing to say. Could I hire you to sit around and write compliments all day long? Thank you for those nice words, Logan.
