1.Behind every great man is the kitchen drawer I need to get into. Why are you even in the kitchen?

    2. If I'm being kind enough to pour you more coffee, don't move the cup!

    Now I'm back to my mild-mannered, seemly self . . . .

Randy works at home...for many years now....but I love it. It has been a teaching experience...he retires at the end of this year and already makes his own breakfast and lunch. Thankfully he does not like to cook so no kitchen competition when it comes to supper and as I am not a big fan of cooking either, never have been just did it cause it was expected of me, our main concern is when I will get tired of eating at Marshall's BBQ and when we will tire of Flying Fish, breakfast or supper at Norma's Cafe or Old City Cafe or burgers at Becks.

Bingo!!!! I took 6 years of HomeEc thru middle school and high school...I learned how to make chicken aspic and identify furniture styles....come on... aspic is simply chicken pieces in unflavored jello and the furniture style called Chippendale became the name of a group of male strippers and a couple of cartoon characters on Saturday mornings cartoon shows. But they were easy classes to make a good grade in.

I loved HomeEc in school. Not the sewing part, but the cooking part. When I got to college, a roommate of mine was Italian, and would use the dorm's hot plates and refrigerator, and cook for several of us. I learned so much about ingredients from her!
I'd love to take classes in cooking, but sadly there are none offered locally. I'll just read my cookbooks and plot and plan, and hope for a good outcome. No one has died (yet) from my cooking, so I'll just keep trying and sometimes succeeding.

Hi guys, My hubby is good in the kitchen. When I am too tired or something he gets right in there and cooks. It's more instant then I would do but it's good. He also pitches in when I am calling even though he doesn't know what we are doing. He just does what I tell him to do. Nice huh??? He also drives me nuts when he is in a hurry, he stands right up close to me and when I am rushing around, I turn and bump into him. He drives me nuts sometimes. He just wants to help when we are in a hurry BUT gee whiz...but he's cute about it..LOL
