Bunnies are about a foot long and for the most part eat grass. They are pretty tame as I can get within 10 feet of them before they move a few feet away.

They are temptingly tame. Make you think you can catch them, but you can't. At least I can't. Mine is an adolescent, about 7" long. Growing rapidly with all the good eats.

You must be meaning the basket and not the bunny.

Never mind the French fries - I think Chocolate is thinking more along the line of the contraption becoming a bunny boiler!!! :D :D

When this popped back up... I just knew someone had the definitive "what it is" answer.
Oh well... back to either a fryer for fries... or a bunny boiler. :D

I still don't know what this kitchen gadget is, but I showed a picture to my hens, and they got really, really agitated. The ladies think it may have something to do with poaching chicken for chicken salad, and they want it BANNED!

I think Barb had the correct identification; it looks like a basket for use in a deep-fryer..

Well, I do not know what it is really for but you could cut your spuds and place them into the basket...then lower it into boiling water.

or...after washing and cutting your lettuce, you could pack the shredded lettuce into the basket and just sling it around to get the excess water off.

Man, this item has possibilities. ;)

Or, one could line the inside of it with moss or some such stuff and put plants in it...hanging plant basket? :O)

I like our free-wheeling imaginations! I bet other websites don't have as much fun as we!
