Hi KAY-- Glad you liked the auto. It is nice and roomy, so I do plan on hauling a lotta stuff for the lotties in it.

Hello PHILIP--Thanks alot for your nice words about the Caddy. I am glad that you liked the mushroom pics. I found that stump so interesting to see there along the dark path. I feel a bit disappointed that no fotos really could convey how nice they actually did look.

Too right, NETTY--I am already thinking of gardening places that I want to go.

Thanks, ROY-- I am counting on that Caddy lasting me a long, long time. I am really happy that you enjoyed the story as well.

I appreciate your words, 2T-- The vehicle rides comfortably and the trip was fun in many ways...but most importantly, it good getting to know the auto and the TomTom GPS device.
I wish that I had that stump in my shade garden on the lottie.

I really like your new car. The yellow is nice, not that garish yellow you see on some cars. I don't get all the pictres because of my slow loading dialup but I liked the stories anyway. Thanks!

    Thanks Dooley,
it is nice and comfortable as well as good for shifting things from here to there.
So sorry that you didn't get all the pics.

I am glad that you liked the reading part of the posting, though.

The new car looks just the thing for you. Is the back large enough for you to maybe sleep over in?

I loved your park photos but where are the horses?!? *squints* You didn't forget to photograph them, did you?

Sojerd, I thought of you yesterday as I drove my husband's car. It's relatively new to us--had it just under a year. I drive my truck 99% of the time, but he needed the truck so I was stuck with the car. It says "Hello" when you get in and turn the key! It has lights and gizmos and a shifting pattern that is utterly strange, and when I finally got to my distination and stopped shaking, it said "Goodbye"! I don't think I'll ever get used to a car that wants to start a relationship.
Hope you enjoy your yellow van as much as I do my plain old mute white truck.

Thanks DROOPY--It absolutely is. The back is not really large enough for me to sleep over in. I am sort of tallish, dontcha know.

The horses...sorry that i do not have any fotos. By the time that they were close, it was already twilighty.

    MARLINGARDNER--Thanks for your nice response.
I know what you mean about an auto that wants to talk with you. I do not have that switched-on in my auto--I find the tomtom annoying enough.
Auto's that want to start a relationship.....sorta creepy, innit. It smacks of Stephen King in a way.
Anyway, I think that I am going to like this auto a lot.

Congrats on the new car Sjoerd. You can go a lot of places with your own vehicle that public transportation does not go. Buses and trains are nice for some things, but hauling stuff home or just going on an unusual adventure just doesnt fit their schedule. :stew1: I love your pictures too.

Hey there, Bunkie-- Nice to seeya.
I had a big snile when I read that you "got" the Crocodile Dundee reference. My partner had no feeling for humour at that point. chuckle.
Thanks for your nice comments on the posting.

I've decided that your car's name is "Little Chicken". It's small, cute and yellow and has a big belly. :D

    Thanks Droopy--That's a good one.
One thing in its favour is that it doesn't eat a lot. ;)

Great story and congratulations on the new vehicle....I love your humor, I don't think a day goes by that we don't laugh together at our house. It sounds like you are enjoying your vehicle and I am sure you will not get tired of it. Our area you are lost without one or you pay an outrageous amount for a taxi cab...

Your pictures are so nice and clear...

Thank you so much, Sherry--I do realize that an auto in america is NOT a luxury and why...but here it is a luxury. Ach, and I feel like I deserve it. hahaha (Well, I WOULD) :)
