You guys already know Lonesome Larry. He has become lax around us and likes to perch on and near us. Today he brought his honey with him to introduce her. I didn’t catch her name.
Nice one Sjoerd We had a pigeon called Derek, she vanished last year but I think I saw her come back yesterday, sitting in the same place
Annie— Lavinia it is then. I knew a Lavinia once. She was a Kiwi. Zigs— ta. Derek. Was it a passenger pigeon, a trans-Atlantic flyer? Glad she’s back.
She was an orphan Sjoerd, stayed behind last winter when all the other pigeons went to the fields. I used to feed her every morning and talk to her
Oh geezzz. Every season a couple pigeons show up to nest and they make such a mess everywhere. Yesterday a friend parked her car next to the tree in the driveway, a pigeon left his mark on the front windshield and another across the drivers door handle . Then proceeded to mark across the driveway leaving white dots marking the way to the front porch smack dab on the brand new bench cushions. the happy messy couple.
Clay— hahaha. Pac—What a messy story. Those guys make a much bigger mess than Larry’s sort do. Right away I wonder if those large guys would be good to eat. We used to eat dove and pigeon sorts when I was younger.
