I love tumeric also and like Eileen, use it a lot in asian cookery. It is why I have a collection of yellow wooden spoons. I would love to grow it in my conservatory, so I am going to get mum on the case as where she lives there are a lot of asian supermarkets - she might be able to find a fresh root and I will give growing it a whirl.
