I did not taste it. I just left it on the plant. I first sniffed the strawberry but it had no strawberry smell so I just left it.

We love strawberries and try to buy them every week when we shop...sometimes they are so hard that they have no taste even though they look ripe. I tend to go by smell now more than anything...I do have a few flowers on my ground cover now on the south side but I am not sure how long they will last if we get the snow that they say we might get... I think we have so many birds that would get to them before they were ready...:dislike:
