So, i've been all over the city looking for a lightbulb. A Specific lightbul.

You know those superwhite headlights that are blueish? i'd like to get some of those for my house, but everything i check out from halogen to compact flourescent are all just white/yellowish.

    Any thoughtS?

Hi there Ratfor and WELCOME to our forums.

I know that Gallium nitride emits an intense blue light when an electric current is passed through it, maybe you can do a 'Google' search and see if there are any light bulbs out there made with GN. Alternatively you could always paint your light bulbs blue with special heat resistant, blue glass paint. :-D

What about LED lights? They have their own distinct glow about them.
