I am very fond of that green button! It not only tells me how many new post the Stew has, but when I click on it, they all show up. If I have time, I start from the bottom and click my way up. If not, I just check the new ones. I like the one next to it as well, with the blog entries. It's a big help when navigating.
It is the most useful link on the site, I wonder how many times I've actually clicked on it in total? By the way it's going to get joined by another green button very soon.
I know if you click on it too soon after you just clicked on it you get a notice that you can't click on it that soon after just clicking on it and have to wait a few seconds more before clicking on it again. :-D
It does that Toni because the page behind the link requires a little bit more work to build than other pages on the site. If it is clicked too often in a short period of time it could possibly slow down the site for others (GardenStew server slows down). Therefore a time delay exists
I love it too, but always feel a little bad when I can't stay to read all the great new posts, and wind up just skimming the titles (my bad)
