Just the kind of place I could lose myself in for hours on end. Snowdrops have got to be one of my favourite flowers as they brighten up the countryside when hardly anything else is in flower.
Goodness gracious, me! These pics look smashing. I wonder how this place looks during the summer season. I understand that they have flowers and fruit. Do they set it up sort of like an old Victorian wall garden? You really must return and give so update foto's later on in the year. Those snowbells look quite nice and there are a couple of pics that i really liked a lot: 4,7,10 and of course the magnificant trees. BTW--what do you call snowbells there?..."snowbells" is the literal translation of what we call these over here.
I'm glad you enjoyed the tour I'm sure I have summer pictures in my archive somewhere so I'll see what I can find so you don't have to wait. Sjoerd,we call them snowdrops but snowbells is a lovely description. I recall that the garden is a riot of colour but I don't think they've gone down the Victorian route.
