My women's institute competition this month was to make an easter bonnet, so I thought I would knit one. My daughter and chums thought it was fab, the bonnet judge didn't as a ready made, put together Alice band effect won. I was robbed!
Next year get a new judge, preferably one that isn't blind! I love your bonnet. You made that? Hand-knitted and all? Fabulous!
How could anyone pass yours over? I'd have given it a prize for originality and for the work put into it.
Hehehehe. Shucks, thanks you guys. All original, had to mix a bobble hat pattern with a toy bunny pattern. I always try to be original when I enter a competition, and it normally means I loose. I like to break the rules.
