The toms got off to a bit of a slow start this year. I have been removing trug after trug-full of excess foliage from the plants, topped them and removed the suckers from the cordon plants. These guys are looking pretty good to me now. Remember how the greenhouse looked when I started? Here they are today Ferline (cordon type) "Legend"(Bush type) ...and finally, some rewards for my labours of love: --BLT's, or as we call them, broodje spek, sla en tomato
My favorite Sjoerd...I'll take two please! My mouth is watering...everything, especially the toms looks soooo goooood! YUMMY!
Now thats what i'm talkin about!! You have done great, and the toms looks just as juicy ripe as can be..well done!! Did you eat my sandwich? Because i sure don't see it there!
Oooh, looks like a feast to me! We've been eating Greek salad almost every day, and tomatoes with just about everything several times a day. I'm still not tired of tomatoes.
