My gardens are all tucked into bed. While visions of Spring time dance in my head. I can hardly wait, Wish I could hibernate. So with a yule tide log, guess I will search the seed catalogs. What seeds do I need, I want them all, this is my down fall. Oh what will I do. I'll ask my friends on GardenStew. New gadgets arise, but I've become wise. Ask the Stewbies, before I buy. Then relax with a sigh. because they do not lie. Now as I settle down for a long winters nap, I start planning my garden map. Consideration for what goes here and there is taken with care. We all play this game, each year is the same. We wade through the winter blues, looking for clues. In the end it's our GardenStew friends That help us make amends. So to all of you on GardenStew, a great big Thank You for helping me through. And a very, very "MERRY CHRISTMAS" ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden )
Great poem Donna! I think you've summed up the feelings of pretty much everyone here at this time of the gardening year. Merry Christmas to you and yours
Thanks all. Sjoerd, The cats are intarsia. I bought them from a local artist. The wood is tiger wood for real. This man buys wood all over the world to make intarsia pieces. I think that sounds better for a cat but I think it really is zebra wood. Very nice. The trees may be the same or closely related.
Just super, Donna! Those are VERY attractive pieces. The idea is clever and they look so good in your home.
Merry Christmas to you, Donna. The cats are really pretty. A lot of work went in to making them and the type of wood is so appropriate.
Merry Christmas Donna, great poem. We have metal black cats with green shiny eyes to scare away............cats.....
