We were given a couple of these in very small pots by different people as Christmas presents. I was loathe to chuck them out when they died off. So I put them in 10" pots with some fresh compost and placed them on the patio steps in February. They looked a bit scruffy for a while, but now have several buds on them

I have four mini-roses. They are prolific bloomers, given the right conditions. I am just now in the process of transplanting them into the real world, as they have been living happily in an Earthbox, but are getting a bit crowded. I prefer the mini-roses to the big ones, for some reason.
