We found ourself making a day trip to Sherman to pickup a HAM scanner Randy bought from a lady on Craig's List. While there we found an almost brand new junk store, only open since early summer and filled with potential.
We wandered through found couple of little things then went to Denison where we know there are a few good shops. But two items at the shop in Sherman kept haunting me so we paid them a second visit on the way home.

We pulled up out front and the lady who owns the shop was standing outside, recognized us and as I got out of the truck she smiled and said "Something here has been haunting you, hasn't it" I really like her!

I ordered some bulbs the other day....Leucojum aestivum (Summer Snowflakes) and Galanthus woronowii (Early Snowdrops) so to prevent me forgetting where they are if/when I have new plants to get into the ground I bought
these two things to cover the area before and after the bulbs have bloomed...

Formerly used to hold water and food dishes for someone's dog or cat, but here they will hold shallow pots planted with??? We bought this the first time we visited the shop yesterday.

This little table was one of the items we returned for...

And I just had to have the half door, main reason we went back to the shop.
I am thinking I will paint something floral on parts of the door, add a shelf across the top and put a planter on it, maybe some sort of vine. The door knob unit will come off to be used on doors for my shed we will be building before spring.

Interesting stuff, Toni. That blue bench looks like a stand that you would place a beehive on.
You've got some plans there, don't you.

I really like that pet food/ now plant holder.
And that table could be used for just about anything... maybe another water barrel?
A half a door... Hmmm... now that is something that I wouldn't have thought of using in the garden.
Can't wait to see all your junk become "functional".

I love your imagination Toni. It seems you know exactly what an item is going to be used for the moment you set eyes on it. Would love to see the half door update :stew1:

The half door turns me on. I come up with countless ideas for that. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

I am waiting for the 'half door' creation too, sounds very interesting.

I have an old door with the bottom half ruined, so I hope to make a gate with the top half, or use it as a window in a greenhouse I want to build from used windows.
