This is my first Shrimp Plants Bethie, I love them especially the green. First time for the Persian Shield too. As soon as this nasty weather clears I am going to plant them all.
I'm sure it would come back for you, Sharon. It dies to the ground here in zone 8, but most years it has come back late in the spring. I do take some cuttings every year and grow them in the glasshouse, just in case. It is as easy to propogate as Coleus. In fact, I grow it very much like I grow Coleus, with frequent pruning to promote bushiness, and I don't let it bloom, the little purple flowers aren't really much to see, anyway. And I grow it in partial shade to keep the color from fading.
