    Hi everyone!

    Would someone be so kind as to identify this moth for me?
    The photo was shot in the South of France, in a relatively swampy area.

    It looks like one of the Emperor Moth sorts. I have seen several variations, but I can't be 100% sure about the one that you have pictured here.

    Sjoerd is right with his ID. Your moth is a (male I think) Emperor Moth - Saturnia pavonia. :-D
