IMG_3558.jpeg It’s been fun watching the nesting, hatching and fledge of two little Doves. The parents have been very attentive. We’ve watched out the kitchen window, the babies are sitting in my Japanese Maple seeing their world. The parents are sitting together in the nest, ( which is falling apart) Ha They are about 8 feet away.

Birdwatching is actually pretty amazing as well as rewarding to watch.

That is so nice that you watch the whole cycle. It is wondrous, isn’t it. Pretty lucky, you were.

They are so cute. Don’t think I’d have initially thought they were doves:p. Great pic

That's amazing, we have a pair of wood pigeons nesting in one of our apple trees about 8 ft away from our house.
We do get doves but not nesting.
