Here is my first coreopsis flower, these are the ones I started from seed so I'm quite please. I've got 5/6 other buds waiting to flower.

My pink phlox finally bloomed. This was a blow in or bird in, if you will. I never planted any pink ones. I got the first surpise last year with one flower and this year I have many. How I love these extras, where ever they come from.

This white petunia showed up in one of my hanging baskets. I didn't plant any white so it was a nice little extra...

I love it when new things pop up in a garden. This year I had Common Spotted orchids which I definately didn't plant but were very welcome to stay. :stew1:

It seems like the things that I don't plant do the best here. I love coreopsis and they've been coming up every year but they didn't come back this year. Next year, I guess. With the grasshoppers showing up now I'm not planting anything and just hoping they don't eat everything in sight like they did last year. dooley

Lovely pics. Congrats on your coreopsois. If you keep them dead-headed, they'll bloom longer for you. Mine are still going strong.

That Phlox looks super. I sure do like those Phlox!

Oh what nice surprises, wish a bird would bring me a pink phlox like that one.

Very pretty...I always have coreopsis plants...I don't have the best of luck with them, but I keep replacing them.

I love the color of your Phlox Terry, such a delicate pink. Phlox is definitely one of my top ten favorites :)
