I saw this plant in one of Toni's photos last year and just had to have one/some. I found a place online and ordered some last summer and started by first of three container water gardens. This weekend, they finally started to bloom!

You can barely see... but there's two more blooms underneath on the same stalk.

That is gorgeous and two more coming along after it. You did something it likes, I had my water Irises for three years before I got one bloom.
Mine are starting to thicken up so maybe I'll get another bloom this year.

I haven't really done anything to them... perhaps that's what they like? And they are multiplying pretty good too. Started another container for more of them. Thanks for posting your photos of them... that got me hooked!

Oooh, now that's some Iris! *drooling* I remember drooling over Toni's too. They're amazingly attractive.

That's so lovely! It's really exciting to see your plants bloom specially when you really love it.
