This was bramble, our first one. Didn't realize how much the retrieving was bred into them. He used to pick up anything.

A few nights ago when I was taking Barley for his walk it was dark and he saw a hedgehog, he didn't do much - just curious.
Now he can smell them even though they have gone, he's from a working line.

Breeding as a working dog is a very strong instinct for goldens. Barley is a good guy . Sending hugs and kisses his way…:smt055:smt050

This morning went to Morrisons to buy some foods that Sainsbury's haven't got and bought these toys for Berry and Barley. They're £11.00 each and they love them so much.

Thank you Sjoerd, when Barley went for his walk, when he came back he couldn't wait to get to them.

I have to tell you— it is a “feel-good” story, and it’s heart-warming to see someone that cares for their pets so much. I suspect that it is a reflection of your character.

Thank you Sjoerd and yes i suppose it is a reflection of my character, we and me more always worry when we have to leave them at home to go somewhere, even though they can be left for a few hours.
