Oh, oh, oh, will you look at all those beauties! I especially like no. 2, and no. 4, and that one *pointing*, and those Sibirians are awesome too. I give in, it's impossible to pick a favourite. I think I need to visit Lithuania in the near future!
Those are absolutely gorgeous! I don't think I can pick a favorite. Your yard must be so colorful in the spring...Tulips, Iris, and Gladiolas. What else do you have? If you have a Peony collection I would LOVE to see photos of that!
# 3 and the third from the last are to die for.Oh heck its to hard to pick any favorites they are all sooo gorgeous.
Droopy No 2 - 'APATURA'. lithuanian variety. Do You know butterfly Apatura iris? :-D And the no 4 - old variety 'JET FIRE' You are not far from us, and it is no problem to visit one another, and no problem to send plant by postage. We can make changes ! Netty, I have no peony, sorry. I have only: miscellaneous (microbulbs) - about 100 species and varieties; Tulips - about 150 varieties; irises (TB, dwarff, siberia, spuria) - about 200 varieties; daylilies - more, than 100 varieties; Glads - about 400 varieties; dahlias - about 100 varieties, and some perennials. Glendann, yours favourite are 'INSTRUCTOR' and 'SECRET MELODY'
Oh good, I still get to look forward to pictures of Daylilies, Dahlia's and some perennials! Keep the photo's coming Vivasvat, I would love to see them all
Wonderful collection Vivasvat. It would be great to see these photos attached to their plants in PlantStew. I'll help if you are interested.
Why not, Frank ? But, probably, You need more information about all those varieties, not only picture?
I love all the iris...I do want to get maybe just one red one or pink. I have mostly purple and white. Beautiful flowers. I had some blooming late in the fall...they were close to the house and I have no idea why they bloomed so late here.
cherry8, You have irises - rebloomers? Those varieties blooms twice in the year: on late spring and on the august-september?
Vivasvat....My rebloomers are white. But the ones by the house I had just moved last fall and I had so many and I didn't want to throw them away so I just plunked them everywhere. They did not bloom in the spring, I figured they wouldn't bloom because they hadn't been there that long...and they surprised me and bloomed in the fall. I do have just a couple that rebloom (white) but I left most of them (by mistake) at the other house I lived at. I think I bought them through Spring Hills. Sherry
Your flowers are all gorgeous. Seems like there is no end to all the varities and beautiful colors. Thanks for sharing all of them.
