Chihuahuas as a breed tend to be burrowers. Not all are of course, but my two have that characteristic in spades. All their beds have snuggle blankets mounded up in them so that they can burrow. Because they're so tiny (3.5 pounds each) it's often hard to tell that they're even IN that mound of blankets somewhere. And when they do poke their little heads out (like they begrudgingly did so I could take this photo) their blanket mounds often look like little igloos ...hence the title of this post. ;)

Awww what a great photograph Ronni. With the weather we're having here I'd be snuggled up like that too if I could.

How cute! That's how I felt this morning when my alarm went off ... just my head poking out through mountains of blankets, I was SO cozy and did NOT want to get out!

So cute...I didn't realize that your dogs were so light ...Issabella weighs 8 pounds and she will be 1 year old soon. Issabella loves to tunnel too....I picked up a soft babys blanket and put it on top of her w bed and she snuggles under it all of the time...and when she is on our lap she wants to be covered. We have to be careful if a blanket is on the couch and she tunnels so we don't sit on her...Your dogs are so adorable..
