Being on a slope didnt help me here, but I needed to get rid of mud.
this is what I did with Lava. I like the red stuff.

    More tidy than mud.

Looking good, B. That red with the green grass looks nice. You have made it look very tidy indeed. The hostas are especially attractive.

What a lovely hosta..even more special having memories attached. Those are indeed my favorite plants. They also seem to be the plants that stay with me despite my neglect..doubly special.

Those are lovely views. Know just what you mean about special plants... gives you a reason to think of that person and smile, every time you look at the plant....

Gee girls, Thanks so much for that wonderful response.
My son gave me the lil bush first one next to the hosta, the opposite end is Bleeding hearts from my late sis who died in 2009.
I still have my family with me in plants.
One sis gave me white Lilas she is gone.

Another nephew gave me a small , very small christmas tree . Hd dad gave currant bushes an grapes.

Many seedy folk contributed to my lovely flowers. I have a Happy Yard. Keeps me going all winter for the spring break.

Walking thru my yard< makes alot of scents.. ;o)
