I've had this for eighteen years, it's mostly videos of our garden, my jukeboxes and music. I've 107 videos, 503 subscribers and the videos collectively, have had 386,572 views. Unimpressive by most standards, but I don't think that bad for, "fringe interests."

In none of the videos do I either appear or speak, I just add information about them below each one. Consequently, my YouTube "handle," is Sean Regan, another character in the film noir, "The Big Sleep," who is mentioned several times, though you never see or hear him speak.

As I've recently been otherwise occupied, I haven't made or uploaded a video for three months.

Each month, YouTube e-mail me with information about activity on my channel.

I was surprised to learn that last month, I had six new subscribers, 1.722 views of the different videos and those had 2,307 minutes watched, (which only actually averages 1.3 minutes per video! maybe people get quickly bored).

What always impressed me is that some videos are watched in so many different countries.
The track "My Foolish Heart" by Steve Conway, I uploaded from a CD in 2011, has had 56k views and by 2018 had been heard in 132 different countries. There must be a lot of elderly ex-pats out there.
It may be more now, but the analytics are no longer that detailed.

Thanks for the link to your brilliant YouTube Channel @Doghouse Riley , I've watched a few and will continue tomorrow. Really interesting . Your great choice in music has brought back many happy memories and also introduced me to some new ones too, I particularly loved Lily was here. You have such a fantastic collection of music !!
Your garden is always stunning during every season...and it's obvious that the wildlife think so too. As I mentioned before I can recall ( on another forum) the time you decided to close up your pond and followed the work that was involved with great interest.

Thank you for sharing with us. :)

DHR very interesting to see videos which covers a variety of your interests. I have seen many earlier videos before of wildlife moving the fish pond and always enjoy them all. You have a great deal of insight knowledge and talent . I will have to keep your YouTube channel on my list on my dash.
Thank you for posting the link to your channel …:smt041

    Thanks for the kind words.
I've always admired the Dutch jazz alto sax player Candy Dulfer.

I've a couple of her CDs, I bought well over two decades ago. She's 55 now, but still looks as good as she plays. Here she is with Dave Koz, on tenor sax, playing one of hers and my favourite Isley Brothers songs.

I've always liked Dave Koz, here he in 2017 playing soprano sax with the jazz guitarist/composer Peter White, with whom he's made a few CDs. I've a few of those too.

About thirty years ago, Dave had a daily DJ slot on Jazz Fm. (Radio Manchester!)
This would have been a syndicated programme made in the USA.

Riley—I am amazed that you know of Candy. Her father, Hans was also a saxophonist. You are right about her looks.

Here's the new to me tuner/amp. It's about 40 years old. Total cost including a service, less than £100, so I'm well pleased,

It's playing a track from one of my CDs

The sound on my little Lumix camera doesn't do it justice.

In days gone by the stereo system had speakers outside in the garden… could march along thru the garden planting away to my favorite songs. My son a DJ … made several CD’s . His music was commercial underground where venues advertised for ‘Dance Raves’ in dance clubs .
