Neem cake

    Another orchardist I know is using 'Neem' cake (this is the residual left over after pressing out neem oil) as a systemic for borer on her peach trees.

    Much as I hope this works, I am a little fearful of unforseen consequences of using a systemic anything around bee polulations...

    Thanks Eileen. I thought I would try Neem oil this year on my iris. They are attacked by iris borer every year.
