Hi, just wanted to drop a note to say hello . Looking for a place to talk plants, ask questions and share. I have a few houseplants and succulents plus I plant flower boxes and new perennials every year outdoors that I grow from seed. I'm changing things up this year and I'm going to plant a few vegetables on my deck and convert my garden boxes to butterfly gardens. I LOVE going to greenhouses to look at the various plants but sadly have no one that shares my excitement. I guess that's enough, I have to go shovel some snow
Hi there Tindi. Welcome to our forums from Scotland. You'll find lots of folks here who will share your excitement so jump right in and get to know us.
Welcome Tindi, hope you have some pics of your butterfly garden and your container garden. We on the skeptical side until photographic proof prooves your claims. Lol that's how we roll...
Hi Tindi Welcome to GardenStew from another snow weary Ontario gardener! I was almost starting to wonder if winter was ever going to end!
Hi from Montreal. I hope you'll come back here and post some pic as the season gets going. it's nice to see gardens from people in the same climate zone.
Thank you for the welcomes! Lots more snow today so I'll close the curtains and look at my houseplants haha. My plant grow lights came from Amazon today at least. My frog avatar picture I took last summer. He was determined on sitting on my basement stairs. I kept moving him back to my garden and the next day he would be back! He finally moved along. We have so many frogs here that our ears ring!
Hi Tindi, welcome to Gardenstew from Chelmsford, MA, USA. You will find that several members have greenhouses and many members have flower areas that draw butterflies. As a group we love pictures. We look forward to answering any questions you might have. Jerry
Welcome @tindi I've been semi stifled by the snow too. The deck has a full 2 inches of ice in some places and topped by snow. I keep going out there and whacking at it trying to break it up! Got lots of seedlings going in anticipation of another season so didn't come online much the past little while. Every leisure minute has been spent filling little pots to pot up seedlings or making more soil blocks to start the seeds. I'm sure you'll enjoy this forum
