New Gardener, tips for farming in Texas?

    Hello I was wondering do you gave any tips for farming in Texas? Or any tips with getting started?

    It would help us answer your question if we knew approximately where you will be farming. Farming in east Texas is soooo different from farming in far West Texas. I am in north Central Texas.

    We have a small farm in central Texas, and would be happy to share our experiences. However, I'd hesitate to make recommendations or suggestions if you are in a completely different zone/soil area/climate.
