This year we have a pair of Indigo Bunting that joined our crew of birds ! We are still feeding them so guess they decided that free food was better than hunting for it. We have not had these before but they seem to be staying in our huge elm tree. Bright,, an most florescent blue with slightly darker head and tail. About half the size of a common sparrow. Not much bigger than a Hummingbird. Wish I could get pics but my camera is not that good.

What a handsome little bird Mart. We have nothing to really rival them here - well maybe our Kingfishers but they don't visit our garden.

Pretty bird. While they say they breed in my area, I have never seen one.
