    The cold part is true, and on the other end of the scale, I remember a number years back seeing the thermometer at 100 F (38 C) in late July. Unusual, but it can get hot here too.

    This was posted in February. Down in Houston, and further south, come July and August we hit the triple digits, and the humidity is so high you can breathe and quench your thirst at the same time.
    I don't recommend anyone visit from up north around then, it takes adaptation, we all pant like dogs, and sweat as well, down here to keep cool! LOL
