Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm renovating my Japanese garden. I have a small room and I would like to apply for outdoor tiles. Which colors and types do you recommend? Any advice are welcome!
Welcome @Emes889 Traditionally, I think that paved areas inside and out would look a bit like the picture here. Stepping stones and crazy paving seem to be used a lot in the Japanese gardens I have seen. Some made from wooden tiles.
I'd probably go for all white tiles for the inside of a small room. Makes the space seem bigger and if you change your mind you can always use tile paint to change the colour at a later date.
Japanese gardens are usually very natural in colors and materials. Maybe visiting local Japanese influenced gardens will give you some ideas. Ours uses lots of stone, sand, wood with piers recreating the idea of being over water and gravel. Tiles come in such a huge variety now you should find something to suit your fancy.
Do you think something on this page might fit? https://www.novoceram.com/tiles/that-looks-like/stone I like grey colors.
This one would be my choice out of those @Emes889 you will show us a picture of this project won't you ........please
