I am an introvert, have known that since I was young. I like people but don't do groups, over the years I have found that being alone by myself is better than being lonely in a group. And coming up with original excuses for not going somewhere or doing something with others has been difficult...how many colds can you have in a month and 'I don't want to' just sounds un-nice. So this will be perfect for the next time the need arises.

I'm getting more introverted as I age but I'm comfortable with it. When I was younger I could stay on my own and draw all day. Seems like it extended to adult life also :) I really dislike feeling lonely in a crowd. Is it something only introverts feel?

I don't think so Frank as I feel exactly the same. I like my own company. I don't have many friends and I'm quite happy with that. I don't do crowds or large groups.

I have to communicate with the general public a lot because of all the yard customers that I have.
